Just finishing lunch with a very tasty halloumi burger and salad, sweet lemon drizzle cake and Fair Trade cappuccino at Leon restaurant, Spitalfields Market on a beautiful warm sunny day. A perfect end to a meeting, I had with Paul Rinkens and Ebe Labordus whom I’d visited on site at the Qbic Hotel, Aldgate East, London.
This is my second time visiting the site, and of course I’m seriously impressed with developments of the hotel project which is moving along quite nicely. Being greeted with an eco friendly fireplace in the public area is one of my favourite features so far, and I’m sure there’ll be more as the hotel develops further. The rooms are incredible and are taking shape with their fixtures and fittings added. I was able to see one of the nearly finished bedrooms, and I have to say, it’s looking good indeed.
