Nathan Bowen presents Bring Down the Office London Street Art Charity Event
On Saturday the 8th November 2014, I went to a fantastic London street art charity event, and I’d love to share this with you. Called Bring Down the Office, it was presented by street artist Nathan Bowen and held in an unused office space at Fox Court, 14 Grays Inn Rd, Holborn. There was art, live painting, activities such as head painting, fire eating, music (future beats, underground, hip hip, electro bass, house, funk, jazz), drinks, and loads of other fun stuff. It was a fun-packed evening of pure inspiration. It certainly made me want to get my paints out.
This event is also supported by the charity Uthink PDP who promote the education and development of Young People, those most at risk and on the margins of society, by offering a space to exhibit and showcase their achievements whilst engaged in Uthink activity’s.
This one day event aimed to raise money for young people who are at risk or disadvantage, to create opportunities and positive art to help achieve their goals.
There’s so much real talent out there, so it was nice to see and support this event by attending, donating and appreciating the works on show, and also by introducing you to Uthink PDP I also couldn’t wait to see Nathan Bowen’s art work, I often see it on the walls around London, and of course, it was on BBC’s the Apprentice, 2012.
There were plenty of artworks from selected artists at the show, here are just a few I’d like to share with you, I hope you enjoy them:
